French International Celebrates Volunteers

French International Celebrates Volunteers

On May 29, the Parent Partnership hosted French International’s prominent volunteers to celebrate their hard work and dedication to the community. Guests gathered to toast the end of the school year and hear remarks on the impact of their time from Head of School, Scott Hardister.

Those invited included those who volunteered 30 hours or more, as well as room parents, Gala volunteers, trustees, admissions volunteers, and more. Volunteer support allows French International to keep administrative expenses low while maintaining the events and opportunities that make our school special. From field trips to class breakfasts to the Annual Gala, volunteers make it all possible!

This year, French International families volunteered over 7,500 hours.

Volunteering involves the entire family in a student's educational life. Service is a part of our IB educational philosophy as we teach students that we have a shared responsibility to our connected global community and that meaningful action can make a difference.
