Maternelle Classes Perform End-of-Year Shows

June 4, 5, and 6 were big days in Maternelle as preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten performed shows for their families. Each show featured one class per grade, and the teachers collaborated to create a cohesive show including all of the students.

Day one was Emilie, Françoise, and Alice’s classes performing a show about the seasons. The second show day featured Mina, Nathalie, and Thomas’s classes sharing a show with stories about Goldilocks and her adventures. The final day’s show starred the students in Soukeina, Carine, and Sylvie’s classes presenting a show about the weather.

The Maternelle shows were a tradition in the past and returned last school year. These performances provided a wonderful opportunity for loved ones to witness the incredible growth and learning of our students. As an IB school, we want students to learn how to be open-minded risk takers. The show challenged students to embody these qualities as they evolve into thoughtful global citizens.
