A Very Special Visit Thanks to Annual Fund Support

On February 5 and 6, a very special guest, Prince the Therapy Llama, brought smiles and excitement to Maternelle and Lower School classes. Students had the opportunity to meet Prince up close, offer him a carrot, share a hug, and take a picture with him.

Prince’s royal visit was made possible thanks to the generosity of our community through the Annual Fund. To earn the llama visit, Maternelle and Lower School grades needed to reach a 70% participation rate. Families from TPS through fifth grade went above and beyond, achieving more than 90% participation in support of French International.

This enthusiasm reflects a schoolwide commitment to giving back. Together, our community has now surpassed 75% participation in the Annual Fund, exceeding last year’s 60% milestone and the highest in the school’s history.

Participation in the Annual Fund plays a vital role in the life of our school. Contributions support the experiences and resources that make French International extraordinary, including field trips and guest speakers, classroom materials, and enrichment opportunities. Participation also strengthens our ability to secure external grants, as many funders look closely at community engagement when making funding decisions.
