First Grade Celebrates the 100th Day of School
March 7 was the 100th day of school, and first graders celebrated all day.
The day's activities included:
- 100 math problems
- Writing 100 words
- A museum where each student brought 100 of something (legos, beads, toothpicks, and more!)
- Coloring 100th day of school glasses
- 100 exercises and more
Each class had a slightly different take on the day, and the classes rotated through the various activities to celebrate 100 days smarter.
The day also marks the first graders' 100th day of Lower School, a significant milestone in their academic journey. Teachers reminded students that the math, reading, and writing they did on day 100 were something they couldn't do at the start of the year. The students reflected on being 100 days smarter and how much they've grown in first grade this year.
