Campus Updates and Summer Work

Campus Updates and Summer Work

The 2026-27 school year will mark the first full year of our new Maternelle buildings. These spaces were made possible by the generous support of 62 donors and the dedicated efforts of faculty, staff, parents, trustees, and community members.

As with any major construction project, there are a few final items to complete. Over the summer and into the fall, there have been changes to the French International campus, with a few recent projects creating new opportunities for students to learn, play, and connect.

In August, we installed the new turf on South Field, next to our Maternelle buildings. Students are enjoying the space for class activities during the school day, while soccer and cross country make use of the field in the afternoons. This project was made possible through the incredible generosity of our community during the 2026 Special Appeal at the Gala. Thank you to everyone who helped make this investment in our students possible!

We have also removed the temporary classrooms next to Satellite One, opening up a new play area for students. Gabrielle, Aurore, Estelle, and Ryland are working with our Facilities team to explore how we can make the most of this newly available space and create opportunities for play, exploration, and connection.

Construction continues around the Maternelle buildings as well. The new staircase on the east side of the buildings is nearly complete, with the landing still to be finished. New pathways connecting Satellite Four to the Maternelle buildings are also now in place, making it easier to move through campus and strengthening connections between our spaces.
