Board of Trustees Update - September
Dear French International Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I can’t believe it’s already October - it feels like the school year just started and like we never left.
We have a big year ahead, and your Board of Trustees is excited to support the school and our community through it. You can see everyone on the board here. We are a dedicated group of parents and community members, working closely with Scott as Head of School with one shared goal: ensuring the continued success of our school.
A few weeks ago, we held our annual Board retreat, which kicked off the year with deep discussions on our campus transformation. One of the highlights was a walking tour around the Maternelle and Lower School construction site with our contractor, Carbon Group. This part of our campus transformation has been a board priority for over 15 years, and we are lucky to be part of the final chapter. Construction and fundraising are big priorities for the year, and it is inspiring to see the vision taking shape.
We’re eager to share more on the campus transformation and the work of the Board. To that end, we’re aiming to publish a monthly piece from the Board in La Gazette. This will be a space to share key highlights, decisions, and ongoing work happening at the Board level. We hope it provides a window into the work the Board and Head of School are doing together on behalf of the school and community.
Thank you for being part of this journey, and I look forward to connecting more throughout the year.
À bientôt,
Janna
Chair, Board of Trustees
