November is Native American Heritage Month in the United States. Throughout the month, teachers incorporated lessons and presentations related to Indigenous cultures into their lessons, and the Native American Heritage Month committee provided resources to the community.
November 2024 was a significant month in the French International campus transformation as the Maternelle building permit was approved and Grow With Us: The Campaign for French International reached the $2 million mark.

French International alum, Chelsea Faltersack, teaches kindergarten in a remote village in St. Mary's, Alaska. She shares more about her experience working with the Algaaciq Native Village and Yupiit of Andreafski populations and her life in Alaska.
For two weeks in November, French International welcomed students and faculty from the Greenhouse School in Temuco, Chile. French International students and families welcomed the 18 students and two teachers were welcomed into our community.

French International Alumna Millie Orlando was one of more than 10,000 torchbearers carrying the Olympic torch across France in celebration of the 2024 Olympic Games. She is also working and living full-time in Paris and reflects on her journey after French International.
