Advisory

Advisory

All students in grades six through eight belong to an advisory group of twelve to fourteen children who meet regularly under the direction of a teacher advisor. The main purpose of Advisory is to ensure a regular academic follow-up of each student. The advisor is an important link in the student-school-family partnership that we strive to establish and maintain. The advisor is involved in most aspects of the school life of a Middle School student. Advisory groups are also social groups where discussions occur,  health and wellness topics are addressed, school-wide issues are discussed, and special student events are planned. Students are assigned to a  new advisory group every year.
