Afterschool Explorers

Afterschool Explorers is a series of sessions throughout the year that encourage students to develop areas of interest in a non-academic setting.

2025-26 Afterschool Explorers Sessions run weekly from 3:45-4:45. First-semester classes begin the week of September 2 and end the week of January 5. Second-semester classes begin the week of February 2 and end the week of May 25.

Students may also participate in Aftercare until 6 PM.

Afterschool Explorers Policies

If classes require a waiver, participation will be dependent upon receipt of the waiver.

Explorers' programming runs on a regular schedule during school half-days.

All students enrolled in Explorers programming will receive free Aftercare until their class begins.

Participants who are not enrolled as students of French International must complete a Guest Authorization before attending.

Reimbursements for withdrawals and cancellations are as follows:

• Full reimbursements during the first week of class
• 50% reimbursement through the fourth week of class
• No reimbursements will be given after the fourth week of class
• Material fees are non-refundable after the first week of class
• No partial refunds are given due to student absences
• No refunds are given due to weather cancellation

The Extended Learning Department follows French International procedures on school closures, late openings, and early dismissals as stated in the All-School Handbook.
