Can I take the written and oral exams on the same day?
Examiner availability, room availability, and maintaining appropriate testing conditions all place limits on our scheduling options. Because our examiners are full-time teachers or school staff, it is very difficult to schedule oral exams during the school day. Starting at the B1 level, candidates should expect that the written and oral components will not be scheduled on the same day.
Oral exams typically take place after school hours.
We understand that this may be challenging for working adults. If completing both components in one day is essential for you, we encourage you to consider another testing center that may be better able to meet that requirement.
When will I know the dates/times of my exam?
When you register, you are signing up for the written portion of the exam. These dates are fixed and mandated by France Education International.
The oral exam is scheduled by our center.
After the registration period closes, you will receive a convocation via email (sent to the address you used during registration) indicating your assigned oral exam date and time and the time of the written exam.
Can I request a specific date or time for my oral exam?
Unfortunately, no. Oral exam scheduling depends on several factors, including:
Because of these constraints, we cannot guarantee specific dates or times and are unable to accommodate individual scheduling requests.
Could the exam session fill up?
Yes, although this is rare. Some sessions may reach maximum capacity.
We strongly recommend registering early to secure your spot.
When registration opens for a given exam session, a link to the registration form will appear on this page.
Can you accommodate disabilities?
Yes. France Éducation International protocol mandates:
- The candidate makes an appointment with a doctor to obtain a medical certificate (doctor's note) detailing the recommended accommodations.
- The candidate presents the medical certificate to the center at least 2 months before the session.
- The exam center reviews the medical certificate, evaluates the recommended accommodations (with support from France Éducation international if needed), and confirms the candidate’s registration as well as how the exams will be organized.
- The exam center plans for the testing according to the recommendations and organizes the necessary staffing.
Candidates who do not disclose the need for accommodation with sufficient notice may not be able to be accommodated if extra staffing is required.
